This journey began when all four of our founders met through a Full Stack Development Bootcamp at University of Washington. Finding that they all had a common passion for travelling, they decided to work together.
Wanting to give back to the traveling community in some way, the team quickly came up with the idea of an all-in-one website that would simplify how we prepare for trips. The site would provide their clients with information about their destination that they would commonly have to research separately.
EXPLOR's main purpose is to take some of the stress and frustration that comes with preparing to go on a trip. By entering a destination, our users will be automatically redirected to where they can find information of their location. This information includes a packing list, the weather for the area, the top restaurants, events going on at the time, best rated things to do and see, and a map of the area.
We are so excited to announce that our team is working hard on turning their idea into a mobile app. Features that will be a part of EXPLOR 2.0 will include a hotel search, flight finder, directions from any two selected places, the ability to search for information based on dates, and the ability to save all the information or text it to yourself.
